The blue dress Marilyn Monroe wears when photographed with Arthur Miller in 1957.
'We are all of us stars, and we deserve to twinkle!' Some like it hot in our ever popular, retro Sun Dress with shelf bust and gathered skirt, emphasizing those hourglass curves and a definitely a showstopper for any occasion, whether it's for day or night. The Marilyn Dress dress also looks amazing teamed with a bolero jacket and hat! This 'easy to sew' sewing pattern is available in multi-sizes which is ideal for the beginner sewer. The gathered bodice front attaches to your midriff which shapes up underarm and the bias-cut shoestring straps have tacked on bows. Now it's your turn to be a pinup bombshell star! The bodice is on the larger size so we would recommend a toile (mock-up first).
Offered here as: Paper Pattern. This pattern is also available as a PDF download.
