This artwork experiments with the dripping ink method to test the fusion of ink and water, allowing the ink to flow naturally on rice paper, creating speckles that enhance the splendor of the red flowers.

About Ark in Ink
Launched by UOB Hong Kong in 2017, the UOB Art in Ink Awards is an annual flagship event dedicated to fostering the development and appreciation of ink art. The Awards invites Hong Kong residents aged nine and above to participate. Winning artworks, selected by an independent panel of judges, have the opportunity to be exhibited in Hong Kong and beyond. Living the motto 'Art in Heart, Ink for All', the UOB Art Academy endeavours to promote ink art, rejuvenate traditional culture and contribute to a more sustainable future in the community. The UOB Art Academy is now a registered charity in Hong Kong.
