xThese earrings are named for Shyam Baden Shrestha, founder of , a leader in the Fair Trade Movement in Nepal. Shyam and the Knotcraft Centre have trained so many women to weave and knot handicrafts and have enabled the products to be sold around the world.
The four-loop knot is often thought to be a love knot, but it is also the logo of Nepal Knotcraft, and so we are honouring Shyam with the naming.
