Released on September 13, 2024, Paradise Dragona is the seventh Japanese subset of the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet era. Combined with Supercharged Breaker (released in October in Japan), it is the Japanese equivalent of the English expansion Surging Sparks.

As indicated on the box (and perhaps in a nod to the fact that 2024 is the Year of the Dragon in the lunar calendar), Paradis Dragona is dedicated to dragon-type Pokémon (and a few other types) and the trainers who love them!

This series continues to feature the ex-Stellar Tera Pokémon cards introduced in the previous series, Stellar Miracle. The illustrations on the Paradise Dragona cards also evoke summer, perhaps as a farewell to the summer season, given the series' early autumn release date.
