The MOON 681 is a versatile and feature-rich network player with built-in DAC, designed to be the digital heart of a modern audio system. It is developed to play perfectly with the MOON 641 Integrated Amplifier, but can equally seamlessly function as a front-end in any analog setup.

The balanced design minimizes crosstalk (measured at –125 dB) and eliminates distortion down to just 0.0003%. The result is precise, stable and completely pure sound reproduction, whether the source is high-resolution files, streaming or digital inputs.

CONNECTION AND STREAMING

The MOON 681 offers six digital inputs including coaxial, optical, USB and HDMI with ARC, making it ideal for both music systems and home cinema setups. The integrated Mind2 module provides access to major streaming services and supports high-resolution formats, so you can enjoy music in true studio master quality.

Analog output can be customized with optional voltage levels of 2 Vrms, 3.5 Vrms, or 6.5 Vrms, providing flexibility for different systems.

USER EXPERIENCE AND DESIGN

With its solid 48 cm wide cabinet and a weight of 18 kg, the 681 signals uncompromising construction. The front is dominated by a 4.3” color screen, which provides clear access to settings, metadata and system information.

The included BRM-1 remote control is intelligently designed to give you full control with an intuitive interface. Power consumption is also optimised for modern use at just 15W in idle mode and 5W in low-power standby, so the 681 combines energy efficiency with high performance.
