AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Exhaust Shield - Nissan R35 GTR

What you're looking at is AutoTecknic's pre-preg dry carbon fiber exhaust shield cover for the 2009-2016 Nissan R35 GT-R. With a show car shine, this product is resistant to UV rays from the sun. It is made with 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber in our signature pre-preg autoclave process, then finished off with a UV-resistant clear coat. These will fit over the OEM exhaust panel area when installed.

Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed autoclave to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
