One of the "Deluxe" models from the Roadstar II series, the RB824 is one of the beefier offerings from the 1984 Ibanez catalog. Built with a double-cutaway basswood body with arched top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.3kg's. Loaded with a pair of Super J6 passive pickup's, an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing, Ibanez "Dead End" strap buttons, it appears all original as pictured.
Good vintage condition with plenty of signs of wear to the finish, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, fretboard clean and oil, truss adjustments and electronics lube/flush. The neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss and the frets have plenty of life left.
